Website technology

This website uses no analytics or advertising trackers, externally loaded fonts or embedded maps. Images, scripts and styles are loaded from the website’s own server. The application code sets no cookies and does not store form data in browser storage.

Hosting and access data

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the site, STRATO processes your IP address and technical access data to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the host’s legitimate interest is reliable and secure operation. According to STRATO, IP addresses are retained for up to seven days to detect and prevent attacks. Hosting is subject to a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.

Enquiries by email or telephone

“Send enquiry” submits your contact details, stay details and message through the web server at STRATO by email to kontakt@monfee.de. The enquiry is non-binding and is not a booking. Alternatively, you can send a prepared message using your own email app, copy the text or get in touch by phone.

To prevent automated or duplicate enquiries, the server briefly processes your IP address and derives a check value protected with a secret key. This value, sending counters, timestamps and technical request identifiers are stored, but no message text is stored in the rate-limit file. Entries are relevant for one hour and are removed after expiry during a subsequent sending attempt. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is protecting the form and mailbox against abuse.

Andreas Saar uses your contact details and the stay information you provide to answer your enquiry and prepare a possible booking. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a contract with you. General enquiries and enquiries from company contacts are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of the host’s legitimate interest in handling the enquiry.

Enquiry data is deleted when it is no longer needed to handle the enquiry or follow-up questions, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require it to be kept. If a booking is made, contractual and invoice documents may be subject to statutory retention periods. Providing your data is voluntary; however, your enquiry cannot be processed without sufficient contact and stay information.

The primary mailbox kontakt@monfee.de is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes emails as a processor to provide the mailbox. Automatic forwarding to other email providers is not configured.

External maps

The “Open directions in Google Maps” link leads to an external Google service. This website does not connect to Google through an embedded map. When you open the link, the provider’s privacy information applies.

Contact via WhatsApp

This website contains a “WhatsApp” link. It is displayed without embedded WhatsApp content or scripts; merely visiting the website does not transmit any data to WhatsApp. Only when you click the link does the WhatsApp app or the website wa.me open. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. WhatsApp’s privacy information then applies; WhatsApp or Meta may also transfer data to third countries, in particular the USA.

If you write via WhatsApp, Andreas Saar uses your telephone number, your name and your message to answer your enquiry and prepare a possible booking. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a contract with you, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Using WhatsApp is voluntary; you can also contact us by email or telephone.

Your rights and supervisory authority

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Please contact the controller named above.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live or work or where the alleged infringement occurred.
